Cosmopolitan Community Church (COSMO), located at 5249 S. Wabash Ave., on the South side of Chicago in the Washington Park neighborhood, is spreading joy as continuing blessings of new kid’s coats with hats, gloves, scarfs and essential supplies are provided to its community partner Beasley Academic Center’s students.
However, Mr. T., who is a member of COSMO, and Sketcher donated products such as shoes and bags during the recent gathering at Beasley.
Pastor Dr. Eric D. Clopton, Sr., the senior pastor at Cosmo, expressed his gratitude towards the staff of the school. He went above and beyond by providing and serving lunch staff, as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
In addition, on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 13 and 14th, COSMO will also offer breakfast to parents who drop off their children in the mornings.”
The breakfast will include hot coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and donuts to help the parents start their day with a boost of energy and refreshment.
“Cosmo is committed to serving communities because the kids and parents come from all over,” said Gladys Bouyer.
Every Sunday at 10:45 am, COSMO visitors are welcomed. Cosmo encourages, teaches, and empowers the community through love and fellowship.
