On Sunday, May 18th, Bishop Sherman & Rhonda celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary Dinner at Cloister In The Woods, 1101 Park Drive, Munster, IN 46321.
He is the senior pastor of Nazarene All Nations Church, 6500 S. Ashland Avenue, Chicago, IL.
This amazing couple has nurtured 6 children and is blessed with 10 grandchildren. They beautifully harmonize their family and ministry lives, making it all come together.
The special occasion began with Barbara Graham, who serves as the secretary, executive assistant, and manager for Bishop Butler.
“I am Bishop Butler’s niece. We are here to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Not many people can say that and man, it’s been amazing. It’s been truly amazing. He and his wife are a great example of long-lasting relationships and a great example of their pastoral ministry of 24 years,” Barbara expressed.
Meanwhile, Chicago’s talented saxophonist, Sal Butler energized the crowd with an unforgettable solo performance. His captivating melodies and engaging presence connected with the audience, creating a great atmosphere.
In addition, each attendee was handed a questionnaire asking how much they knew about Bishop Sherman and Rhonda Butler.

Bishop Butler said, “Marriage is not easy. It isn’t always perfect, but I believe it’s worth the effort to stick it out. If you put in the work, you can reap the blessings that come from it. Nothing worthwhile in life is easy, and you will face hardships. However, I am excited about how far we’ve come, and I pray that we can enjoy at least 40 more years together.”
