PHN Charity fundraised with socks to support youth and young adults as they pursue their academic dreams. It’s a simple but powerful way to honor the legacy of Pastor Huford Norwood and continue his mission of love and service.
The charity was born out of the heart of Pastor Norwood’s oldest daughter, Nikia Norwood-Wheaton, who sought to share her father’s legacy with young adults as they embark on new life chapters. With the blessing of his wife, of 55 years Mrs.Genevia Norwood, Nikia made this dream a reality, ensuring that Pastor Norwood’s spirit of service would continue to touch lives.
“Partnering with OB Sock has enabled us to enhance various aspects of our annual scholarship program, specifically in preparation for this year’s PHN Charity Scholarship Gala,” said Nikia Norwood-Wheaton.
Thanks to the funds raised, Indiana Avenue Pentecostal Church is now able to extend a helping hand to a local homeless shelter! This support will make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
“We aimed to fundraise using a practical product like socks to support the homeless. OB Sock provided us with the tools we needed to make this fundraising campaign a tremendous success. While many people I know were fundraising with similar products, I wanted to try something different, and it turned out to be a great decision, Evangelist Joyce Walker.”
OB Sock is dedicated to creating and sharing positivity through its innovative digital platform. This platform is designed around the principle that sharing is essential, and fundraising should be streamlined and accessible. Users can quickly create a virtual store link that lasts for seven days, enabling them to share a link that represents their brand with friends and family across the country.
When supporters purchase our handcrafted premium socks, 50% of the sales proceeds are returned to the fundraising organization. These funds are crucial for the continued growth and development of the organizations involved.
