Finding Identity Without a Title

On Saturday, August 23rd, Davidic Generation Outreach Ministries hosted its 22nd Year Anniversary Celebration at the Doubletree Hotel – Stratosphere Ballroom, 6624 South Cicero Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. The milestone event brought together members, leaders, and friends of the ministry for an evening of reflection, worship, and inspiration.

The anniversary theme, drawn from 1 Corinthians 15:58, set the tone for the gathering. It reminded attendees that true purpose and calling are not confined to titles or positions, but are discovered in faithfully living out God’s assignment with humility and perseverance.

The celebration featured Apostle George Smith of Kingdom Authority Ministries International as the Guest Speaker. Apostle Smith delivered a stirring message, emphasizing that identity is rooted in Christ rather than in titles or worldly recognition. His words encouraged the audience to walk boldly in their God-given gifts and to impact lives beyond traditional roles.

The evening also included worship, testimonies, and heartfelt reflections on the journey of Prophetess Helen Speights, founder of Davidic Generation Outreach Ministries. What began as her vision just two years ago has now grown into a thriving ministry dedicated to empowering people, equipping leaders, and spreading the message of the Kingdom.

Prophetess Speights shared her gratitude for the day’s outpouring of God’s presence:

“God truly got the glory for today; hearts were changed and transformed. Dr. Mildred C. Harris came out and allowed the Spirit to take over. The Holy Spirit was in this place—the Spirit of God and love were here. Everyone who came today was blessed with an awesome gift. God even allowed people to be chosen to receive a plaque declaring, ‘You Make a Difference,’ reminding us that He has not forgotten His people, His servants, nor His sons. We are all truly sons and daughters of the Lord, and I am grateful that God got the glory.”

The 2nd Year Anniversary was not only a celebration of progress but also a call to continue building with integrity, passion, and a focus on spiritual identity.
