40 years of continuous pastoral service

On Saturday, August 9th, the community came together to honor Apostle Bennie L. Mabon Sr. of Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Center, celebrating an impressive milestone of 40 years of devoted pastoral service.

The event took place at the elegant Chateau Banquet Hall in Merrillville, IN, where friends, family, and congregants gathered to express their gratitude and admiration for his decades-long commitment to his faith and the community.

Apostle V. Robinson stated, “To the saints of God, it is truly a blessing to be here. Amen. I have known Apostle Mabon for a long time, and I can’t speak highly of him without also mentioning Sister Mabon. We had just met, and Apostle Mabon is always working.”

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy as stories were shared, memories recounted, and heartfelt tributes paid to a leader who had touched countless lives through his ministry.

“He is a great man of God. I love him dearly. He has done many things for the community and the people, and I’m just excited to celebrate him today,” – Jasmine said 

However, Apostle Bennie L. Mabon Sr. has devoted 40 years to serving God and the Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Center, 400 E 35th Ave, Gary, IN 46409. His lifelong mission has been to inspire the congregation to surrender their lives to God,

“Many didn’t make it, but I did. My son is getting ready to take over, and I will let him carry on the work.” Apostle Mabon stated this while reflecting on his journey, expressing gratitude for his longevity and announcing the succession plan for his church.
