Embracing one’s purpose and moving forward
On Friday, March 7th, the 2nd annual Refuge Women’s Conference was held at Refuge Church Chicago, 12900 S. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois.
The event’s theme is “Women empowering women.” This three-day gathering will conclude on Sunday, March 9th.
The event was hosted by Crystal Waters-Morton, who energized the audience by informing them of Lady Heloise Harrison’s commitment to God and her accomplishments.
This event was led by Lady Heloise Harrison, who shared her vision and leadership to make the conference successful. She encouraged attendees to embrace their purpose and move forward boldly.
Although she describes herself as a “perfectionist,” she is grateful for her team, which has helped make the conference a success. She is eager to share her wisdom and experiences with women of all ages, marital statuses, and backgrounds, and is committed to helping others instead of holding back.
“Everything requires some effort, right? I remind myself and others that I don’t want anyone to feel stressed because life is already challenging enough. People may be dealing with tough situations at home, work, or elsewhere in their lives, so I don’t want to add to that pressure.”
The conference is focused on empowering women, encouraging them to embrace their purpose, and supporting each other.
