Chicago, IL – On Saturday, June 22nd, Pastor Mitty Collier celebrated her birthday at New Beginning Full Gospel Church, 16440 Cottage Grove, South Holland, IL.
The master of ceremonies was Elder Rashaun Pitts Sr., who serves as the senior pastor at Greater Praise Ministries. He did an excellent job of reminding everyone about Pastor Mitty Collier’s journey to success and salvation.
One of the highlights of the evening, was a performance by Chicago’s very own Sax Preacher, who wowed the crowd with a soulful serenade to Pastor Collier on his saxophone.
Deaconess Enid Spotser introduced “HERstory,” which featured an exclusive viewing of the play “The Mitty Collier Story, From Man To God,” written by Pastor Collier.
Prior to the viewing of the play, Elder Pitts Sr. explicitly announced to the audience that they had the opportunity to purchase the play on DVD and music at a remarkably good price.
Deaconess Dolores Rogers shared, “Pastor Collier continues to guide us through the Word, pointing out our shortcomings and our growth. Her direct approach and sense of humor are well-known, reminding us that we can laugh and battle the devil simultaneously. As we gather today to celebrate 83 years of Pastor Collier, I pray that everyone encounters this powerful servant of God.”
In the end, Pastor Collier closed by extending a heartfelt thank you to everyone for being part of HERstory.
